LOTR

Anyone else re-reading the books in anticipation of the first film this fall? I just finished Fellowship this morning. Probably my favorite of the three. I hope the movie does it justice! Well, time to start The Two Towers

Actually I decided to wait until after I see the films... you know books always have more than the movie, so I didn't want to see the movie and say," Oh they left that out, and this didn't make it... oh and that was very important to the story and they didn't included it"... etc

Ditto to Icemark's comments. I actually have read them in the last couple years again, so I'm fairly sure I've got a good grasp for it. I can't wait!!!!!!!! DECEMBER 19TH, 2001...

I haven't read any of the books besides the Hobbit. We did go out and buy the animated series as soon as it came to dvd. It was neat to sit and watch them again. I hadn't seen them for about 10 years.

I have been watching for trailer updates. Looks like it will be a good movie.
