I was told that this reg. # was on one of the jets...who knows...
Open up Microsoft Word and do the following... type> Q33NY then set font size to 28, right click Q33NY to change the font to "WINDINGS"

Urban Legend...100%
That number sequence has no bearing on the events of that day. Still it is an odd little result. Try this one... webdings or wingdings, enlarge the font to see what's happn', type (uppercase) NYC webdings gives you "I love NY" (graphicly) the other one is a little stranger, and has been a subject of debate for some time...

It's fake.
FAA call signs do not begin with 'Q'.

using webdings it shows an eye, a heart and a city skyline. Very odd indeed. What are the speculations? Reminds me of the key combination in Excel that allows you to 'fly' over that virtual lanscape...and the other one that shows you the Doom-game-like labyrinth with the names of the guys in the back wall. No wonder installing the software takes up so much space, with all those extra toys ![]() Joaco |

Joaco,
Yep...they're called Easter Eggs. You'd be amazed... We had a guy release a custom application (several hundred users) with an awesome one. If you clicked on Help, About...and then a button combination, it spawned a grotesque picture of his boss picking his nose. My favorite egg is still the NT 3.51 BEER secret screensaver. Best thing about that OS actually, only worked in 3.51 The OpenGL screensaver lets you throw text at it... VOLCANO would have the names of all the volcanos spinning around. NT LIVE (if I remember correctly) gave you all the developers of NT. NT EVIL displayed NO (har-dee-har-har) and BEER, gave you a HUGE animated list of brews. Oh yeah as far as speculating as to any intentional assignment of characters in a manner that raises eyebrows... I think the question was posed several years ago, Microsft and others investigated and found nothing.
