October Blizzard
I love the Great White North! I rode my motorcycle around on Tuesday, and by Wednesday (yesterday) there was a full blown blizzard up here.
400-500 cars are stranded on I-29 north of Fargo, many people still sitting in the cars this morning after a night in the elements. The good news is that my tank temperature is still 80 degrees F. |

There is good news this winter: it's not going to be as cold.
The National Weather Service is using a new wind chill chart which gives warmer readings, so a temp of -100 degrees F last year will only be about -90 this year. It should do wonders for winter tourism to the Northland. |
