Slide bar
Is anyone elses slide bar blue on this site like mine is? This is the only site where it that color. just wondering...

Yes, blue here. I just checked about 20 sites and they were all gray. I guess I just hadn't noticed that before. Must be something Scott did.

I have been using computers in complicated, precise detail for 18 years and I have never heard of a "slide bar".
I have been on the internet for almost 6 years. I have never heard of a "slide bar". I have designed user interfaces in two major computer languages on the computer system that GUI's originated from and have never seen a reference to or heard of a "slide bar"... WHAT THE HECK IS IT?? Mark

The "Slide bar" is commonly called a "scroll bar." You know, the thing on the right side of the page that allows us to read all of the posts on a thread. It will probably be blue right now. At least it is for me. Andrew

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. I have just never heard it called that before.
My scroll bar has always been the same color. I think the Mac OS prohibits any change without the program's permision. I can change it directly through software as can any program, but I have a feeling that Internet Explorer on the Mac does not allow a web site to change it's UI. Anyway, thanks, Mark

Me scroll bar be normal mateys...
Uncheck the "Let Scott mess with my browser" checkbox under Tools,Options...
