Angry To all those waiting on LOTR...

Am I the only one disgusted with the marketing campaign from Burger King? It just seems to cheapen the movie for me. I have really been waiting for the release and have seen some awesome previews... And then the Burger King commercial comes on...

Two is only loosely associated with two by a plus sign and therefore doesn't enter the equation at all since it is only there by mere complicity. We shouldn't count it and leave well enough alone.

I have not seen that one yet. But when I went to see Harry Potter it seems like they are adding commercials at the beginnings of the movies now..
If I wanted to see commercials I would stay home and watch TV.
When I go too the movies I want to watch some previews and then the main attraction.

You know, the Burger King commercials don't bother me at all. I look at it as being a phenomenon like Star Wars. Now look at the merchandizing that occurred and occurs with Star Wars! It's hype and publicity. Just like everything else in the world. I don't think it cheapens the film, hopefully it will bring another generation to the movies to learn of this wonderful trilogy and THEN MAYBE have them read the books. I, for one, will be there Dec. 19th. I actually watched the old animated Lord of the Rings the other night and was reminded how BADLY this movie is needed to illustrate the magic. Not make it look hokey like that cartoon. I have high hopes and expectations. JMO

I am talking more about how the commercial was produced. It is very poorly made and melodramatic. If it was not for that special on the making of the movie, I would probably not even waste my time seeing the movie.

I would guess that they tried to gear the commercial towards kids, at which they succeeded, but most people that will watch are adults and most are not familiar with LOTR.
