Well,

The best thing I got this Christmas was my entire family together fo dinner(I cooked...WHEW! At least the boys get to clean the mess )
2nd best thing I got came in the mail yesterday...my Zeagle BC(but you knew that one ).

P.S. You're gonna love "The Modern Coral Reef". We got it earlier this year. Excellent volumes.

Aragorn...you get the Ranger?

I think I am going to get a Dacor "The Rig" in the next week or two, its my favorite so far. I also like the ISI BCD's. Zeagle has a great reputation and high quality, but just didn't seem to fit me right...

As for X-Mas, I got things I NEEDED....clothes...pants, boxers, socks...that sort of thing. Also got some other fun stuff like a couple guitar cords, another new Shure SM58 mic (always need a backup) and little goodies. I am either gonna buy myself a a nice sized HDTV flatscreen, or X-Box in the next week.....C'MON SALES!!!

Still accumulating things for my next tank (still need to find a house!), but I am getting closer to that!

Perry,
Yep. Got the Ranger for me and my wife got the Zena. We'll be looking into regulators soon. We "rolled the dice" and went ahead w/ getting them online without trying them on. We got lucky, they fit great. Excellent price too.

Baby George Foreman grill(these things rock, esp. for the confirmed bachelor such as myself), 16x10x40 CDRW, blanket from Mexico - which was promptly confiscated by the cats, and a coffe maker with a timer on it - probably the greatest of all the gifts......

I enjoyed my family more than I did my presents though.....

Sounds like everyone had a good holiday. Mine/ours was no exception. Got "The New Marine Aquarium" by Michael Paletta. Even though I've been in this for a few years, it is a great book with a lot of good info and great tips for setting up a succesful system. Also got a blown glass Christmas ornament from the Christopher Radko collection. It is a butterfly fish. Will likely display it all year in the tank room. Kids made out like pirates. BMX bike, paintball gun, camping gear, etc. The five yr. old made it all worthwhile. Heard several times from all three bandits that it was the best Christmas ever and this made our hearts melt. Gotta love the holidays! Hope everyone had a good one. JWT

I got the best gift from santa ever, a terrible cold. This might be a good thing since I was invitied to the boss's house for Xmas lunch. When I got to work last saturday the boss had slayed a deer. Due to the cold I missed out on this culnairy adventure.

Christmas started way early for us this year (we won't let this happen again...yeah right )...back in October we got a 61" big screen TV with dvd player and brand new 600 watt surround system. And at the end of November we got a 2002 Grand Prix GT (couldn't see the GTP for me, I hate buying gas at all!) And for Christmas I got mostly DVD's including the first season of the long awaited Twin Peaks rerelease! Snoopy ornaments, a moose flag, awesome moose candle holders, a fantastic moose lodge lamp and mantle clock, books, yadda yadda. That's it. Christmas is OVER for us for a WHILE! And we got the best gift of all, to spend time with our families and friends.

Aquaspacelight!!!!!!

I have to pay for half of it but still it is an extremely cool present! Its the dual 150 watt version and will be excellant for what I am interested in right now, mushrooms for some experiments and of course, clams. I havent put it on yet as it would only encourage aptaisia growth right now but with all my lfs gift certificates I am getting a dozen peppermint shrimps and a 30 gallon tank to nuke those suckers out!!! I also got all of Dr. Ron's books and Aquarium Corals by Eric B. Non fish related presents: new hiking boots(timberland), nice north face winter jacket(just in time for snow storm), some nice winter socks, new wallet, LOTR box set and movie guide, and some Christmas music CDs. Merry Christmas!
