Go to Roy's on Maui located at
Roy's - Nicolina (808) 669-5000 Kahana Gateway Shopping Center | 4405 Honoapiilani Highway Kahana, HI 96761 Excellent cuisine. I am planning on doing my culinary externship there. Asian fusion, Euro-asian styled menu and dishes. Save room for hte Chocolate Souffle and be sure to order it early. Have fun! |

ooooh....My wife is a chocoholic too....haha...How much should I plan on spending there jlazo? I hear everything is real expensive there, we are going to the Marriot Luaua (sp?) and maybe one or two nice places to eat but we would rather spend our money on attractions...but if you say its great then maybe I will try it. Thanx

Without wine, with an apetizer, entree and share a dessert, I'd say about 80-100. Maybe a little less depending on how many dishes you choose. Have fun! Did you get a fishing license? You can try your hand at catching fish, soft corals are ok, but no hard.

I just got back, the humpback whales are there and all the spinner dolphins are cool. I had 3 whales swim @50' to the boat. Nice time to go 82 and a nice breeze when I was there.

When I dove in Kauai, I believe at about 30-45' we were at about 78-80degrees. I dove in a full suit, same, 3-5mm. I didn't have a hood and was completely bald at the time and was ok! Gloves aren't really that necesary, as touching too much, other than your camera really is frowned upon. What kind of housing are you using with your 990?

Cameras are frowned upon? Can you elaborate? I have a Nikon995 with an Ikelite housing. I know that touching is frowned upon....but I cant understand why a camera would be frowned upon.

Ah, orchids you can visit H&R Orchids in Oahu. Don't know many growers in Maui. I remember a guy I think Larry Farnsworth that had a nursery in Maui. Remember taking him on the senic route to the NY Botanical Garden right through the Bronx. We even got a little confused and ended up by the Poe House. He was really getting white knuckled when I suggested to get some donuts at a local establishment
