I second (or third) the dig motion, as morbid as it is, because then you put the notion of a pet semetary (I meant to spell it that way) to rest. But either way, that's weird.

i definatly wouldnt dig that up, its been a while, im sure its over-rippened by now if you wanna be sure i would just poke a pole into the ground if you feel it rip through some meat call the young'n over for some frickasee (sp?) cat

There is no way I'm going to dig it up. I will invite anyone that feels the need- to go ahead. Last night I noticed another cat in the yard, at least this one doesn't look like Ginger and it is still alive.

I guess this is not a good time for the cow story.

you said ginger was originally a stray,maybe this dead cat was one of his litter mates-hence the resemblnce.maybe they were buddies,and hung out together
