Morpheus
Ever since they switched over to the new "preview edition" a few weeks ago, my downloads have gotten intolerably slow on my 56k modem. Can anyone recommend a better file sharing option for me?

Have you tried Aimster? My roomie uses it on his 56k and it seems pretty decent.

limewire kills, i dont even download songs anymore i just download the music video my slowest speed is usually around 20 k/s and thats when its going real slow im usually around 100

go to kazaa.com and get the morpheus to kazaa swithc. .
it converts all yer songs there and its not gay like morpheus preview |

My vote goes to kazaa as well except I do not like the spyware. When you install it make sure you uncheck as many of the boxes as it allows for side programs.

I just downloaded KAZAA yesterday. It's MUCH better than Morpheus preview. Thanks for the help everyone.

Personally, I like WinMX the best. I've tried ALL of them and I don't like some things about them. www.winmx.com
It doesn't have spyware either.

My votes for KaZaA, I have WinMX and morpheus also... Now that they've upgraded both KaZaA and Morpheus only one is better which is KaZaA, I have 56k and I have movies, and music videos and they didn't take too long it all depends. One downside to the WinMX that I have is that it doesn't have an internal player like KaZaA does. Same thing with AudioGalaxay.
