Absolutely amazing!!! We have heard from Gia and Joaco in the same thread! Reefland has posted a few times lately, and Razorbackfan even checked in. Lots of long lost members are posting once again. Welcome back everyone!

...like a friend of mine always says to me:
Hey Joaco, bad weed never dies, right? I always wonder what he means telling ME that... (maybe I'm allergic to pesticides?) Joaco |

I found out whos it is. Actually belonged to cpfams itself. Reason I was looking was because my company is using it for marketing material, and no-one really knew if we had permission to use it or not. Well, contacted cp, and got ahold of Brad who was my predecessor, and it turns out that we did from the beginning. Better to be safe than sorry! I have a 3ft poster here in my office. Awesome, although I doubt it still looks like that.
Joaco, nice to see you here buddy! Here is the pic, minus the black hole coral. Its part of a brochure we're finishing up. Just a taste of things to come. ![]() -Perry |

Glad to hear from ya both-- Gia and Joaco.
Just wondering what kinds of foods did you get to taste in UAE? Seems like cous cous and filafels? Joaco, i had a friend visit Chile for sometime during this catastrophe in Argentina, and he said (or according to him), Chileans and Argentinians do not like each other so because of the tight oil case down south near Patagonia. Is this correct? Apparently, it seems there is a large oil deposit in between the two countries. Man, I need to stop drifting into weird tangents here. I'm beginning to think like MarkS...... 2+2 != 4 - Elmo (<o><o>) ¿ \__/ |

Thanks guys
![]() Elmo, yup, that is correct (about the oil and about the 'sparkles') But it's not much worse than what a New Yorker would 'dislike' a Texan or vice versa ![]() The problem with a really big part of Argentines is that they are very cocky, especially in Buenos Aires. Feeling superior is a way of life among many, just as evading taxes is (which BTW is the second national sport after soccer) There is an old saying that goes: The fastest way there is to get rich is to buy an Argentine for what he is worth, and then sell him for what he thinks he is worth. Then there is another that goes: Q: Do you know how an Argentine kills himself? A: No, how? Q: He climbs to the top of his ego, then jumps from it! Well, that's just the way it is. Because Argentina's population is almost 90% European blood (mainly Italian and Spanish) from immigration, the following generations always thought they were better than the rest of South America. You should see how much many suffer over here right now, seeing how e.g. Chileans come to shop in Buenos Aires because of the (now) very favorable exchange rate for them. Argentina is VERY different from the rest of South America in many ways, the origin of it's population coupled with other factors made Argentines a very special culture. But it's just like with any other country, if you poke deep enough, you will find stuff that you like and other stuff you dislike ![]() Joaco |
