Moving!

Sitting here thinking about how much work I have to do, I was wondering how many times you have moved?

This will be my 6th time moving in the last 10 years!

Just wondering and wish me luck!

since I got married... 4 times.

before marriage\after high school...2-3 times a year.
However, in those days, all possesions fit into one small vehicle.

HA! I'm living in the house I was born in back in '59. I moved out and ended up trading houses with my parents about 10 years later. So I moved out then moved back in.

Iron Crab,

Don't tell me you're living in the same room you lived in as a child?!?!?!?!

Hehehe.

I have moved 3 times in the last 2 years. From the bay area, to Sacramento, to somewhere else near Sacramento, and now to here in Vancouver, Washington. I'll probably be moving again in the next 6-12 months once my g/f moves up and we find a house. Will probably stay in this area for the next few years, before moving back to CA, or perhaps to Oz (probably northern new south-wales or south queensland area....in the Brisbane area perhaps), if things work out that way.

I don't like the act of moving (what a pain!) but I do like moving around meeting new people and seeing different things. Its amazing how much different things are just a state or two away (esp. culturally).

Still not used to seeing clouds and rain in June...don't think thats something I will ever get used to. Its not as bad as I was led to believe though.

Elmo,
Not quite. My kids have my old room but really nothing is the same. I pumped about 40 grand into the house with additions, floors, walls, kitchen, bathroom, and about everything else. Mostly I agreed on the trade for location and the land that came with the house.

I'm with Perry I hate to move. Moving out was OK- just a pickup load but moving back in was terrible.
