...Moron of the Month Club induction in quite some time. Either this guy is a professional troll or he's my new nominee: http://www.reefcentral.com/vbulletin...hreadid=103522

Way to go Ninong!!! I SECOND that post. I was over at Reef Central and read that there.
Can I also put a vote on something? I don't wanna flame him, but realizing he works at a store and then selling this was just unbelievable, not to mention the cruelty to the fish...... READ HERE Enjoy, Elmo ![]() |

This guy is a master troll. Do a search on RC for the user "pass the reefer" and check out the thread about converting his bathtub to a reef tank.

Penguin,
Yep, that's what I figured. Looks like they banned him and he came back with a slightly different handle. I guess he just used PhotoShop to put the shark egg case in that tank pic. I hadn't considered that possibility. I was thinking that maybe he was an LFS employee who had simply placed the case in that little tank just to take the picture. Oh, well.

Elmo,
Yes, the thread that you linked is truly sad: http://www.reefcentral.com/vbulletin...hreadid=103504 I posted to that one a couple of times. The sad part is that it is true. That guy registered to RC back in Sept. 2001 and has 243 posts. His profile states that he is an LFS employee. I believe it is an honest post, I don't think he is trolling us. I wonder if the LFS where he works sells any books on marine aquariums? Obviously he has never read any of them. Selling a customer a blue damsel, a striped damsel, a goby, a feather duster, 10 blue leg hermits and 10 turbo snails to "start the cycle" in a 15-gallon tank that has "six pounds of 3/4 cured live rock" is typical of many LFS employees. But he cautioned them to "watch the ammonia."
