Oh SURE! just rub it in Y dontcha! You will have a blast Ninong! If you get a chance take some pics for us. And if you are ever in Maui then eat at Canoes....to be more specific if you like fish try the Macadamia Nut encrusted Mahi Mahi, I swear that was some of the best food I have ever eaten my whole life!

If you take some pictures get them developed on a disk and I will put them up on the site for you if you wish. You know how much we would all enjoy seeing the pics!

BTW, I just talked to mitch about a tank. See my thread in the Reef Forum for details. Let me know if I'm missing anything.

Problem is I don't have a digital camera. My only camera is a 10-yr-old Olympus SuperZoom 3000 DLX, 35mm SLR with auto-focus. I have already wasted several rolls of film trying to take pictures of the tanks at Steinhart Aquarium and Monterey Bay Aquarium. I have tried with and without flash, both straight on and at an angle, and nothing seems to work. I followed the instructions (I think) on how to focus "behind" the glass, but none of them came out clear.

Oh, well...

Plane leaves early tomorrow morning for Sacramento. We won't be in Honolulu until Sunday, Sept. 1st. I'm coming back Sept. 18th. but spending only 8 days in Hawaii.

I sure wish our monopoly money would move back closer to yours, so I could go somewhere again.

I'm back from Hawaii, but not yet all the way back to Louisiana. Still in Elk Grove, CA (Sacramento).

Had a great time but overdid it the first four days. We were scheduled to fly to the big island on Friday for a one day tour and then return to Honolulu that same evening but since the bus was scheduled to pick us up at the hotel at 4:15 a.m. for our 7 a.m. flight, and since we were all totally exhausted, we cancelled just in time to get a full refund.

Took a lot of pics of the Waikiki Aquarium but only about 1/4 of them are halfway decent. I really need a digital camera! My auto-focus SLR 35mm just doesn't do it shooting through acrylic tank walls. I'll post them next week after I get back home.

P.S. -- The loonie is now worth US$1.07. That's the highest it has ever been since it was floated back in the 1950's.

Looks like the Canadian dollar was only worth about US$0.63 when you wrote that. It's worth over US$1.07 today! That's a gain of 70% in the past five years!!!
