Oh did they win? That means they are playing the Angels in the World Series? I think I heard the Angels made it.
![]() Ok, now I am quite embarrassed, the truth is I know nothing about baseball! ![]() Isn't this like the first time for the Giants in 13 years? Scott Z. |

Yes, it's the first time since the 1989 Bay Bridge World Series (SF-Oakland) that was delayed for two weeks thanks to a 7.1 earthquake that struck 5 minutes into the live TV broadcast of game 3 from Candlestick. The A's swept that series.
But that was then, and this is now. No more Candlestick (at least for the Giants) and no need to go to Minneapolis and play in that joke of a dome. On to Disneyland, Baby! ![]()

That was one wild and crazy game last night. Not sure if I can take too many more like that.
I was disappointed at first that they walked Bonds the first three times up but then they pitched to him in the 6th. and he grounded out. They pretty much had to pitch to him in the 9th. and he launched a 485-ft shot that is still orbiting the moon. I just wish Aurilia and Kent had used some common sense in the 9th. and tried to get on base instead of swinging at first pitches. That kid Frankie Rodriguez is incredible. Wish we had him. ![]()

Hey Ninong,
I wouldn't dance arround the campfire yet as Angels proved to be a resilient bunch. I do have a funy feeling that it might take all 7 games for Giants to win.If they can eliminate the mistakes you've mentioned I do hope they WIN though.

You're right, it's definitely too early for any dancing yet but what about those annoying thunder stick clappers? Is it too early to call for a ban on them? Those things are worse than the stupid Atlanta tomahawks and they make a lot more noise.

This series is beginning to resemble the NLDS against Atlanta. I just hope it has the same final result. Last night's game was nowhere near as exciting as games one and two. Unless you were an Angels fan.

Ugly game last night
Starting pitching worries me and if this "arse" kicking did not wake them up, I fear it's Angels who's going to Disney World![]()

We'll take it. It was just enough. And they finally hit the Venezuelan phenom.
Two down, two to go. ![]()

Yea,it was nice comeback
tonight I just hope it continues and starting pitching holds up.This phenom is something to watch indeed.Reminds me of Mariano Rivera in his easy delivery and this surprizing pop in his fast ball.Physically doesn't look like much but boy,can he trow that baseball![]()

We need one more win, then they need to start Schmidt, and let him bring the heat. The giants large roster of finesse pitchers don't seem to be effective against the Angels, but they have trouble hitting the hard fastball.
Go Giants! -Perry |

Three down, one to go.
![]() Now I know how the Angels' fans felt watching Game 3, but that one was only 10-4. 16-4 is a bit much. ![]()
