Let's Hear a Weather Report

Winter is here. It snowed again last night, and the lake was beautiful this morning.

What's the weather like where you are this week?

Been in the 70s here with clear skies. Like a plague creeping over the lands I keep hearing "the rain is coming, the rain is coming". Haven't seem much of anything yet, though. I love it! I tell ya that if there's one thing I miss about the bay area, its the weather.

Hailing for the Northwest in Vancouver, WA.....

The snow sure is pretty!

It's been cold and grey in KY. Mid 50's in the day, high 30's at night. The colder weather along with the rain makes everyone want to stay in bed.

The Pollen Count is....

Oh wait, I'm not a weather man!

I'm so jealous. My motorcycles are sitting in the frozen garage ready to roll. I'm hoping for some Louisiana weather before winter's here to stay.

Reinhold, take my word for it, only hope for October Louisiana weather or April/May Louisiana weather. You most certainly would not be too pleased with July/August Louisiana weather.

Reinhold,

What's that white stuff?

Highs in the mid 70's the rest of the week.
Lower 60's at night...BRRRRRRR!

That white stuff looks neato!
I'll trade you some mosquitos for some.

I'm with Schro--I really do miss the white stuff. I spent most of my life in Colorado until 9 years ago when we moved to Las Vegas. I miss the snow, but I sure don't care if I ever have to drive in snowpack and icy conditions. That I don't miss.

I actually would never live anywhere that did not have four seasons. It's just that sometimes the extremes are a little too extreme.....114 degree heat indices in the summer and -100 degree wind chills in the winter. Spring and fall last about 4 days here.

Hey!
We have four seasons here!

They just manifest themselves a tad differently.

There's summer.
Mosquitos
8 weeks of cold.
Love bugs.
...then summer again.

Fall foliage change is for sissies.
In the fall, we watch the sand pine sap turn a golden amber and drip on our cars.
