    Unhappy Bye, Bye Reefland

Well, I sold my setup and now I'm reefless. Had to sell most of the toys to help pay for the finishing of the house. Wife wants a baby soon also so it was time to save a little money for that as well.
    It's been fun.... sniff, sniff

    Hi FireFish!

I know how tough it is. I have been reefless for nearly a year now but I am back working on my new system. I hope future events in your life may facilitate you getting another system.

    Best of luck,
    Scott Z.

The surgeon general says giving up reefing is best done in a slow gradual mnner. You cold turkey guys are just asking for it. Hello my names Henry and I'm addicted to fish.

I’d be lying if I told you it was the easiest thing I’ve ever done…I mean, it really choked me up tearing down my tank. Some of those fish I’ve had since I started saltwater 5 years ago. It was almost as hard as trying to pick out a new coral at the lfs with only $75 bucks in my pocket. Ahhh, the days…oh well, I’ll be back I’m sure in a couple of years. Until then I’d like ya’all to find a way to keep a Clown Trigger in a reef tank.

I've found it is very educational for the kids. It is always best to justify your toys in these terms if you want to keep them. Also, it is helpful to have something like this to take a mental health break, and it can also get you out of changing diapers. "Sorry dear, there is a risk of infection to the baby if I put my arms in the fish tank and then touch the baby. You'll have to do it ... for the next 3 years."
