I used to ride a lot of downhill when I lived in the bay area. I have a Team M2 Pro for my hardtail trail bike, and have a santa cruz VPP with a disk in the front on Mr Dirt FAT forks as my downhill bike. That is a smooth rider!

I don't know how it fits in with your bikes, but here is my mountain ride. It is a 2001 Cannondale F500. It screams on the downhills and does a good job of climbing back up. The only weekness it has is it's rider.

Wink

I would love to see a 9foot drop on that.....

I've always liked Cannondale, especially the Gemini and Jekkyl.
I had a cannondale XC(f2000sl) bike too, but I had too sell it to afford the Stinky.. _It was a smooth ride and very light weight, but the BB from Coda broke like4 times.
