What's your cat eat?

I was carving our pumpkin last night and one of our cats went nuts for the pulp. He'd take a piece and run away with it to eat. You could've sworn it was raw chicken or something, the way he went for it. It was really funny. He did the same thing last year too.

So I was wondering what other strange foods people's cats go for.

My Siamese cat likes grapes, popcorn, grass, marshmallows.....and she'd really like to eat this bird. She stares at the bird for hours, hoping the cage will somehow magically open.

Cool, I have a Siamese too. He's not the pumpkin eater though, that's the guy on the right.

I once had another cat that would eat lettuce and celery.

My persian will eat just about anything, providing it's meat or cheese
She would go to great deal of troble to dig in a garbage can for a chicken bone

chicken, turkey, bacon, any kind of "real" fish (salmon and seared tuna are special favorites). He will sniff at crunchy, cheesy crackers, but doesn't usually actually eat them.

Almostdiva, beautiful cat and looks just as lazy as mine

Here is my other cat, josh. He's a mut but he eats cat food only.No cheese or bologna or anything else for that matter.
The friendliest cat I ever had.

Nice pictures y'all.

zhenya,

I hear you about the cat going into the trash. We have ours in the cabinet under the sink with magnetic latches on the door and the Siamese still gets into it. Lately he's been going in there almost nightly. Even though we empty it he seems to like to go in there just for the fun of it. I'm about to install some sort of child safety latches.

Reinhold, Romeo is a Himalayan (cross btwn Siamese and Persian). They come in different color classes (mixes? morphs? not sure of the proper term) like Siameses. Romeo is a "smoky" Himmie.

Zhenya, He is a total lazy bum and he thinks he owns the place! He also likes to squeeze himself into tight spaces -- corners and in between furniture mostly -- esp at nap time (which is about 20 hours per day).

Here is my other cat. She's a mutt. My wife found her as a kitten stuck in a tree. She spent 5 days at the animal hospital unclaimed, so we had to rescue her again from a dirt nap. She has the best disposition I've ever seen in a cat.

Though we have fresh water all over the house, she prefers to drink out of my daughter's fish bowl or, for some reason, a wine glass.

drlowz---thanks, man. It's got 1/2 pound of live marbles, a green Plasticus plantus, a nearby 60 Watt Philips incandescent light, and a nitrate level of 980.

My cats eat just about everything. They especially love popcorn, bacon, fish, crickets, and moths. Here is a picture of my internet surfing partner. His name is Ion.
