Just makes the SEC a bit more interesting. Anyway, as far as the BCS people are concerned, that wasn't nearly as important as Notre Dame losing. Now they don't have to worry about what would have happened if Notre Dame had gone undefeated and yet not been in their little championship game. As if last year's final confusion wasn't enough of a headache.
