    Talking Cool Pictures

    Hey Guys / Gals. Here is a pretty cool picture of a Clownfish pair I have. Though you might like it.

    What kinda algae is that? Any suppliments added to the tank to make it look that good? What size tank?

    Lotsa questions..

    Thanks for the compliments ;)

    The rock is from Marshall Island and when I got it it didnt really have much color, the blueish coralline took a few months to really start to grow. The only additives I use are kalk (once a week) and iodine.
    The tank that the picture came from is one of several 20s that I use to breed clowns in. Ill post a few more pictures of it when I get home tonight.

    Iodine and algae

    I dont think Iodine does much for the algea but it does help the Xenia foredt I have growing in the tank. I have another tank that I use to grow macro algea in, a small 10 with a PC over it. I dump ALOT of plant food into it and harvest the stuff for my other tanks.

    In the picture below you can see the Xenia growing around a small anemone that a couple baby clowns have moved into.

    Plant food? What kind? A reef brand or what? I plan on growing a 10gal w/ macro so any tips on lighting, additives, etc would be very helpful!
