What kinda algae is that? Any suppliments added to the tank to make it look that good? What size tank?

![]() The rock is from Marshall Island and when I got it it didnt really have much color, the blueish coralline took a few months to really start to grow. The only additives I use are kalk (once a week) and iodine. The tank that the picture came from is one of several 20s that I use to breed clowns in. Ill post a few more pictures of it when I get home tonight. Thanks again fro the warm welcome. ClownBoy |

Iodine and algae
I dont think Iodine does much for the algea but it does help the Xenia foredt I have growing in the tank. I have another tank that I use to grow macro algea in, a small 10 with a PC over it. I dump ALOT of plant food into it and harvest the stuff for my other tanks.
In the picture below you can see the Xenia growing around a small anemone that a couple baby clowns have moved into. |
