Talking The Smartest Dog In town

OK. I know this one may be a silly one But here goes. Who has the Smartest dog in Town. Lets Start with mine Police K-9 Anna Is her name Been on the Job for 7 years arrested several hundred people and sezied lots and lots of bad drugs that may have gotten into the hands of a child. This K-9 has also sezied over one hundred thosand dollars in cash that has gone back to work against the dealers that it was taken from. but you know the most amazing thing about this 63lbs of dog she would on anyday give her life at any monent to save my life so i could live with just 1 word. that has to be the most special thing in life there is. people never really know alot about these dogs but she holds a very special place in my heart and i make sure i thank her everyday for that.
think of all she gave up to be the popo dog she can never chase cats,(as long as she don't get caught doing it) she does not get to run and play with other dogs she stays under the watchful eye of her master to make sure no harm will come to her. she is by all means my best friend check her out

Did she have any more of a choice than the average Iraqi conscript?

Here is my nomination: Dusty, Australian Shepherd, 6 years on the job as an official Search & Rescue dog. She finds people, dead or alive, even if they are under 60 feet of water. She jumps out of helicopters into swamps and lakes, too... with my nephew in his diving gear... but usually they travel by boat. She can also track bad guys but she is not a bite dog, so she only tracks them. Her handler/owner is my 23-yr-old nephew, who is presently a police detective but will very shortly be a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service. He's just awaiting a date to report to FLETC at Glynco, GA.

As far as whether she likes her job or not: SHE LOVES IT!! She gets extremely excited when she realizes that they are about to "go to work." I would go so far as to say that she LIVES for those special times and that nothing makes her happier than being called upon to show her stuff.

My golden retriever can periodically shape-shift into a python, thus rendering him with super-natural powers that have enabled him to be a combination brain surgeon, particle physicist and rock star.

He also really enjoys rolling around in rotten dead stuff. Today he found a seal in an advanced state of decay.

Great dog k9anna!

I had a beautiful German Shepherd dog for two years, but I felt too bad about her having to be in a kennel during the day. She couldn't run around the neighborhood because of my cranky, old, crusty neighbors who were afraid of her.

I gave her to a man who trains K9 dogs, and Fred (that was her name) is now busting criminals somewhere in America.

Hey Ninong--it's a plus 6 degrees in Fargo! That's balmy.....it could be a minus 66 F!

The great thing this year is that with the new revised wind chill charts, what used to be -100 now is only about -65. People are going to be flocking to town in droves now that our climate has improved.

BTW, do the cockroaches and termites get better in the winter down there?

Nope.

They still taste like peanuts.

They're delicious sauteed in a little olive oil and garlic with a twist of lemon. Sometimes I like to just sprinkle termites on my cinnamon toast, too.

It sounds like one readily could substitute termites and cockroaches for Snow Snakes called for in recipes commonly prepared here Up North!

Sorry k9anna.

I don't mean to take any attention away from a "My Dog's Smarter Than Yours" thread.

Arrest him! You have probable cause. This guy has clearly been smoking something evil and illegal. Hold him for 8 months under the PATRIOT act provisions that allow you to keep the evidence secret. Then we'll see who has the most loyal cockroach.
