So Much For My V-Rod!

Well, my Harley-Davidson V-Rod has been eclipsed by this bad boy. 400 mph! V-10 Viper engine, 4 wheel independent suspension. I'm going to look for one on Ebay.

Chrysler Group Chief Operating Officer Wolfgang Bernhard motors along the stage aboard the brand-new Dodge Tomahawk V-10, 8.3-liter (505 cubic inch) concept motorcycle at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 6, 2003. The Tomahawk features four-wheel independent suspension, and the superbike's engine, borrowed from the Viper sports car, can propel it at speeds of nearly 400 mph.

I remember seeing one article that had a bike built with a rolls royce jet turbine. I bet that would be fun too.

Both beat the hell out of the R6 I just sold.... Next bike will be a litre bike...prolly an R-1. I am not ready to graduate from crotch rockets yet, still too young and too stupid I guess.

The aerodynamics on that thing wont alow it to hit 400mph. Not sure where they got that figure but you wouldnt even be able to hold on to it if it did.

But as a collectible that sits in the display case at chrysler it would be cool.

Do you mind if we all chip in to take out a life insurance policy on you?

Sean,

“The aerodynamics on that thing wont allow it to hit 400mph. Not sure where they
got that figure but you wouldn’t even be able to hold on to it if it did.”

Dam straight.

I’ve been on motorcycles going 160 and that was bad enough.

Regards,

Scott

I guess a helmet and leather won't help much in a spill.
I think I will stick to my Intruder.

It arrives the first week of February! Too bad I won't be able to ride it until May. I guess I'll pass on the Viper bike.

Ryan, stop by any day. If I'm not home, I'll be that silver blur you see screaming around the lakes!

Don't worry, if I miss you I will just hop on my ride and come find you. It's not much to look at but I've topped it out at 52mph.
