need refugium
i have a 20 gallion tank it is not the long one. i want to hid all my equipment behide a black shiled. i want to make a refugium in the back of it just for fun and see if it would work. i don't know how to post a picture of it so i'm goin to use the keyboard.
------------------------------ ------------------------------ <----Hiding spot were equipment hide ======================= <---black shield ------------------------------ ------------------------------ ------------------------------ <----viewable area for my fishies ------------------------------ ------------------------------ ------------------------------ can anyone give me an idea on the design of the shield should be. and what would be in a refugium? and would it be a good idea to put like 5-6 inch of sand in the hinging spot for more surface area for bacteria to grow. thank you for the imput |
