How do you seal the deal?
The tank edges are sealed with a silicone based sealer. At least it looks like it to me. If I want to run some piping to and from the tank, what type of sealer can I use? Can I use regular PVC glue if I am using PVC pipe? If I need to seal a hole, can I goop some RTV into that space? I haven't worked out all the details of my DIY project yet, but I need options. If I use the silicon, I would need to let it set for a day or two before getting water close to it.

You can use pvc sealer for the pvc pipes to run water to & from the tank.. But, what is the hole in that your trying to seal?? Is it in the tank??? Yes it is best to let the silicon set for the recomended time for curing.
