Bulkheads in Plywood Tank

Anyone ever install bulkheads on a DIY plywood tank? I was think in the bottom. Would this in any way interfere with the sealing of the epoxy? Would it be too much to silicone around it for good measure?

I dont really see a need for ever using silicone around a bulkhead as its seal is the rubber gasket itself. Even w/a plywood tank. Your key to a good seal would be to drill your hole then apply your epoxy and sand it to a flush contact so the rubber gasket will seal properly. I actually get the rubber gasket wet before I tighten the bulkhead so it wont dry contort the gasket and make a better seal....Hope that makes sense to you.
