I personally wouldnt use any "fast cure" method like acid leeching is a time process and if you dont have the time usually you will pay for it in the long run. Cyano or someother type of algae bloom...maybe hair algae

only reason i ask about muriatic acid is because on a large scale production it's significantly cheaper to use.

oh also i plan on making a very large amount of this product at some point and water use becomes very expensive and will take up a significant area, so I'm just trying to find a way to minizmise the water use.

What I always did when I was doing a large amount of rocks was I would put a couple of trash cans on the side of the house and fill them w/water and rocks, and as often as I could just stick the hose in the bottom of the can and let the water overflow, thus flushing the rocks out. I also routed my drains to dump right into the cans thus taking advantage of the free water

yeah see natural rain runnoff would be a cool idea but i live in nevada, not a whole lot of that around.

and with the buckets, thats not big enough, I'm talking possibly up to 200tons a year.

what we're looking into is setting up near a farm so they might be able to use our runnoff for irrigation, we don't want to run it through a river system or lake because it promotes eutrophication.

dunno quite yet, we're still testing so...

also do you know if while concrete is leaching phosphate and calcium hydroxide during the cure would what has been leached redeposit back into the rock?

so what i'm saying is, is if you were to soak a piece of curring rock in the same water, withought water changes for 6 weeks, would it re deposit what it has let off or would it just be on the surface and could be just rinsed off?
