Downdraft to Beckett
Hi
I Thought i would show you guys a pic of my Downdraft to Beckett conversion i have been playing around with i havent finished it yet but ime sure you guys will get the drift of whats going on with the conversion.  DOWNDRAFT  What a great skimmer so many years of faithfull service  God Damm she was Ugly but .  So i stripped her of her PVC intake Riser Tube and farewelled the cup assembly and just had the Box Remaining . BECKETT  So as you can see i made a new Injector tower and a new Beckett housing and a new cup to suit . All acrylic Tube was sourced and cut to size making it as easy as pie to convert .All remaining acrylic was sourced at the local Rubbish Disposal site i got lucky and got half a sheet of 6mm clear Acrylic from a busted up telophone box ..It looked a bit ghetto when i first put it together because of the amount of Graffiti Written on it . INJECTOR HOUSING   lucky for us we had a Masa member (Marine Aquarium society Australia )go to the effort and locate these amazing heads in America and have them sent to Australia where they are not available . We got a box of 50 i think so there going to be a few crazy Mods going around .Hey how ironic when they say made in China .. Hopefully ill crank her up next week with some luck  Mia |

do u have more info on the size n porportion of this beast? and wha pump ur using i would love to try and build one of those thanks
