outside of tank scratch

Hi,

My stupid magnet somehow scratched the outside of my glass, no idea how this happened. Its not too bad, my fingernail can feel it though, but my nail does not get stuck on it or anything. The problem is its right dead center in the tank, on a smaller tank, and bugs the crap outa my anal side.. is there a product or technique to successfully buff this out without distoring the view? Its a bowfront if that matters. Thanks.

Yeah there is a glass buffing compound and I believe you can get it at Autozone or Discount autoparts. a buffing wheel attached to a drill should work in conjuction with the compound. Go in circles never straight up and down or side to side when buffing. Dont press to hard on the buffer for the last fine polish sheen
