How to drill for bulkheads in my tank

I was wondering if anyone knew how to drill for bulkheads, i have a couple old broken tanks to test on before i try my good tank

Glass tank? Where do you plan to drill it at? Please make sure the glass that you want to drill is not tempered.

You will need a glass cutting hole-saw (I think they are diamond bits) and a variable speed drill (for low speed). Also you will need some way to keep the bit cooled, some people build a dam around the area to drill and use water which will stay puddled in the area.

it is a glass tank, not tempered, and near the top to be used as overflows

it says you need a steady hand, but couldn't this problem be solved by making a jig of sorts and clamp over the spot you want to drill, like some plywood with the exact size hole you wanted to drill
