Could i run an ASM G2 skimmer outside of my sump? Could i just find some pvc that fits the tube on the side were the water flows over?

I don't think so Kyle, I have heard these skimmers are pretty leaky, as they are designed to be ran in sump.

asm'S are great skimmers, but I don't think I would trust mine not to leak a little if I dont twist the cup back on right...

I just kinda looked at it and i see what you mean. It has lots of seals to leak from and it isn't sealed very well.

Don't get me wrong, they are great skimmers (especially for the price !) they are just meant to be used in sump.
