Bubble trap for skimmer
Does anybody know how to make a nice looking Bubble-production Diffuser just like the one on the superskimmer or something like that.
I have a pacific coast 200 looks exactly like the superskimmer but without the Bubble-production Diffuser. I wanted to know if anyone had build there own and to let me know how i can do mine. also i was wondering does this bubble trap work on my skimmer : http://www.aquatraders.com/index.as...PROD&ProdID=113 would be easier to buy then to make it myself. thanks |

I have a Super Skimmer and the trap is not worth a darn. I ended up running the Output Tubing back into my bio balls, that solved my bubble problems.

You could run your skimmer output into a filter sock. That should definitely get rid of any bubbles, much better than a sponge could too.
