what is the max height for a 125
Hello all i am getting ready to build my own stand and canopy for my 125 72.5x18.5x23 my questions are these
1- what is the max height for a stand to hold this 125, the way things are now my stand will be close to 36" tall is that ok |

Hey!
I believe that all depends on how you will be viewing the tank. If you plan to view from a sofa then maybe it is to high. If you plan to view it standing up or from a distance it may be fine. My 375 stand was built at 36" + 3/4" ply + 1/2" foam + the bottom tank thickness of 3/4". So the water line starts at 38" from the floor to give you an idea. You must also consider access to the tank through the top. If the canopy opens like the hood of a car for maintanence will it clear the ceiling? So there are a couple physical considerations but mostly personal preference. Let us know what you decide.....
