Talking Pictures of My 1st Reef Setup

40g display, 10g sump, 10g quarantine separate water system, 260watts PC lighting, 2 50/50 12hrs, 2 50/50 actinic blue 3 hrs morning and evening, coralife super skimmer, DIY auto top off system with 32g reservoir RO water, DIY doser systems, one dripping kalk, and one dripping calcium and esseintal elements, and 35lbs live rock.

Hello scuba dude. Thanks for the comments. The water bottle is used as a float device. If you look at the close up of the same photo you will see that I mounted a mercury switch I robbed from an old thermostat, remove some of the spring and hotglued to the arm. The arm and gray mount is from the parts of a bathroom sink drain inverted...LOL even as I read this it sounds like frankenstein designed it! (I just looked at what I had around the house...) The mecury switch is connected to a relay from my Audi car parts bin. Any 12volt relay will work. If you need more of an explaination I will provide more pictures...Thanks again and have a great day!

I love it! you must have read my mind cuz I was gonna ask you for a close up pic? Do you mind if I put that pic in my personal library on my puter (you should also put it in your gallery here on reefland as a backup)? And please by all means give us some more of your little "einsteinien" hacks
