55g tank and 20g sump/refugium

I am trying to find a way to use my 20g long tank that is already set up for a sump/refugium for my 55g tank. The problem is that my 55 is NOT drilled and my sump won't fit under my tank in the 55 stand. The only thing I can figure out would be to move my 55 out away from the wall and place the sump behind the tank, but that would make it difficult to get to it. Anyone have any ideas?

This one has really got me stumped. I thought about trying to figure out how to use my 29g bowfront tank that is right next to my 55g as a sump/refugium, but am not sure how I would get the water from my main tank to the sump and back considering neither tanks are drilled and they both sit at the same height.

i actually had a tank set up that used overflow systems. My 55 gal overflowed into a 10 gal refugium and this overflowed into the sump under the 55 gal stand and then back to the tank. I just used another stand and set the 10 gal tank next to the 55 gal tank. All three tanks have to be at different level to allow the siphon effect to work. just make sure you test this during a power failure so not all the water overflows out of a tank.

if there is a brace in the way that won't allow you to install the tank underneath you can remove some of your display tanks water and remove the brace temporarily.....
