Unhappy Drilling

I am fixing to move, and in my new den, I am going to put a tank in the wall and have all the "stuff" out in the garage. Now, I want to go from a 55 to a 100 to 135 Gal. My LFS has a 100Gal for 199.99 and I get 20% off of that. It doesn't have an overflow, and has no pre-drilled holes. My current 55gal all-glass says on a sticker "Tempered glass, do not drill". Can I drill the new tank? Where to drill and how to drill. I have never sone this before. Should I buy one pre-drilled? Thanks for any information.

I know the LFS here will drill tank, they dont warranty it, but will drill. They may be able to tell you if the tank is drillable and give you a "better" price since you are buying or thinking about buying a tank from them. I know some on this BB have drilled their own and say its not a problem. They may be able to help you out in the ascpect of drilling the tank yourself if you go that route

Good Luck!

If I'm not mistaken, when a piece of glass is tempered they etch a stamp into it to verify it's been done. Bill.
