I am an avid fish fanatic. For me reading about fish is just as much fun as keeping them. I was reading book called The Ultimate marine aquarium and I found a topic that caught my intererst. It was about the ecosystem filter which uses caulerpa as the primary mode of filteration.
Which I was thinking I could apply to my ninety gallon using a 20 -30 gallon acrylic tank as the sump, A pump to feed water back into the main tank via the overflow, pvc piping and aquarium cement to seal the piping and two shut of valves a few inches from the overfow to prevent flooding. The question is do I need a pump for the line that goes from the tank to the ecosystem filter? If anyone has any suggestions or diagrams of this project please feel free to share them with me.
