Hey, I just finished (mostly) building my new water shed inside my home. It was an unfinished bathroom I wasn't using, so I converted it! The room is 5'x8' and was just studs, insulation, rough plumbing, & wiring. I drywalled and laid a linoleum floor etc.
I have a utility sink, RO/DI unit, 55g RO/DI water drum, and a 35g Saltwater mixing drum. Still have to add in a few extras here n there, but I am GLAD I finally got to this stage. Check it out, some finished pics... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: My Water Shed
Thanx! Yeah a toilet would be nice.
I had to rig my sink drain to the sewer pipe as the sink drain pipe is capped off/blocked. Though now I finally have a sink to wash out my acrylic brushes.

Re: My Water Shed
I'm also thinking of putting a medicine cabinet/mirror over the sink to put all the meds I'll likely need. Will have to goto Lowe's today and shop around a bit.

Re: My Water Shed
What about just a shelf that runs the length of the wall above the sink? Place it high enough so that if you have kids, they can't reach the goodies?

Thats a GREAT idea and I do have some old stained bookshelf boards/hardware sitting in the corner of my workshop collecting dust!

Re: My Water Shed
Better let them collect dust over your sink!!! They are kind if trophies, they gotta collect dust somewhere, might as well collect it in a functional spot.

Re: My Water Shed
thanks Rocky! that is a rubber cap+clamp to cover the toilet drainpipe. I cut out the hole for the PVC and 1/4" RO drain line hole. allows it all to fit snug and no gas to seep in the house.
![]() I had to do it that way since the sink drain didn't want to drain and I got lazy not wanting to crawl under the house to see if the drain was cut into the house plumbing. dang on obstacles in my way lol. I plan on doing it the right way asap... or maybe when the spiders are not out in full force. btw, Charlie, I ended up at Lowes today and found a sweet med. cabinet+mirror for only $30. couldn't pass that up!
