Question Evaporation => Condensation Cooler

I have a crazy idea but have not try out yet.

I am running on 2 5-inch fans to cool the water down to 26, 28 range C which is fine for the reef to be kept alive. Room temp is fluctuating from 28 to 31C depends on day or night. The more fans I put, I could see the temperature dropping the further.

We could actually put 6 to 8 fans around it and bring it down to 24 C but the ecaporation will be crazy. I have a crazy idea which I have try out, pump the water from the tank into a 2 feet consealed tank which is running on 6 fans in it, this will prevent the evaporation because all air are trapped but when the humidity reaches the max, the evaporation stops and the temperature will stop moving. I then put some ais pack on top of the tank (outside the glass) and the air inside start condensing and the temperature start dropping again. Of course it is not a perfect way because the ais pack will not last long.

Just wondering if anyone has try out using a couple Peltier IC to replace the ais pack and let it continue running to form a evaporation condensation cycle and the temperature should continue to drop. Then, control the Peltier IC on and off using the temperature control module and it will be perfect.

Under my existing tank environment, to keep it at 26 to 28 C range, it is evaporating 3 to 4 US gallon of water everyday, I will need the condensation power to produce the water from the humidity of that rate to make it work.

I will be doing the experiment in 1 to 2 months time. Reason of waiting is because it is expensive to order the Peltiers from US shipped all the way to Malaysia and I think I will need at least 3 to 5 of them (80 watt each), still trying to save the money.

Any inputs?
