    DIY canopy PC lighting

I just finshed putting my lighting system into my canopy and was wanting to put two PC fans on each end of the canopy. I would like to know what everyone is using 80mm or 120mm fans?

    Thanks

So nobody has put a PC fan in their canopy to cool the lighting?

I have 2 of them! 80mm was plenty for me.

    Thanks!

There really is no "rule" on fans though, you just use whatever you have to in order to keep the tank/light cool.

    Re: DIY canopy PC lighting

I ran the lights for a few hours the other day and I noticed that it was the lights getting hot not the ballasts. The lights are about 6" off of the water so I don't think it will be a problem.

I no longer use canopy over my tank but the last tank that I did have a canopy over I used a couple of the 80mm too
