    Suggestions on sump design/return section?

Whats going on everyone? I'm in the process of siliconing my baffles in place in my 20L sump. First chamber is 13" for intake and skimmer placement, then over, under, over. The remianing space I have is 14".

My question is should I make the return area 8" and the 'fuge section 6"? Or 7" and 7"? I figure it'd be better to have a bigger return since that is wherer I will see the evaporation. The refugium is really just gonna hold some rubble and chaeto, no sand. I just want to make the 'fuge area big enough to get a nice bead of silicone in there.

What do you think? Thanks in advance.
