acrylic glue

Is there any glue besides weld on to attach my baffles into the sump? And if I need to use weld on should I use #16 I have read its the easiest to work with. But i would rather just pick something up at the hardware store. Any way Illl be posting my build as it goes. right now I got 75 gallon mounted in the wall and thats it. On order octpus nwb 150, mag 9.5 and a 29 gallon tank to use as a sump fuge. what do you think so far

On everything I've ever built using acrylic I've used only the weld on products. The #16 is very easy to work with it is also what some called a gap filler if the cuts don't line up correct. I use the weld-on 3 to tack weld the peices then finish with the 16. You can use aquarium sealant also but it takes a while to setup so you have to keep it still longer.

What is the sump made of?

If it is a glass sump with acrylic baffles going in, or if it's an all acrylic sump makes a difference.....

I believe the weld-on type cements are only meant for acrylic to acrylic joints.....

Acrylic baffles in a glass sump would use silicone.....

But I could be very wrong.....
