help me understand venturis/becketts
hi -
i assume that faster water flow (as w/ a stronger waterpump) = more air getting sucked in to create bubbles. suppose mr. cheapskate wants to have a smaller pump, resulting in a lower flowrate. can i push the equation by actively pumping air (or even air/ozone) into the air intake of the venturi? this would allow me to skim less water but do it more completely? for purposes of discussion please refer to the diagram on this skimmer-makers website: http://www.top-fathom.com/top-fathom.html |

yes you can add an air pump to youre venturi, but why not just use a bigger pump?
