My DIY stand for my 220g
Well here is the stand I made ...hope it holds water (no pun intended)
![]() I made it so I could have a large cab/door in the middle for viewing of my refugium area.

Havent really thought much on finishing it out....But im sure it will be with something nice maybe plywood oak? Iono though yet....Im kinda too zoned in on the tank and just the structural part of it right now :P Plus im sure I will be tweaking and playing with it for mos. so until I get everything set just right I wont even bother putting the finishing (cabinets etc.) on it

My gosh, you could park a truck on that thing
That is very stout looking little stand you got there. I am sure you will have fun putting a tank on top of that and finishing it up. Keep us informed, love the pictorial updates. |

Sump?
Nice stand...looks extremely strong. But I was wondering what size sump you are going to be using and if you will be able to get it inside the stand from the front, or will you have to slide it in from the end?

Cool Scubadude...I had this problem when I set up my 90. I added a sump after the tank was up and running, and was shocked to find I couldn't get it inside the stand. I've since added a bigger sump, but it sits outside the stand. I always wonder if I can remove the middle support brace to get the sump inside the stand where it belongs...??
Anyway, I'm glad you realized this before you wrapped the stand in plywood...if I were you, I would put a door on the end of the stand...just in case. ![]() Good Luck and send us more pics!
