Lil' skimmer
I designed this today and have just started building it. The skimmer body is a 12" tall piece of 3" OD acrylic tubing. The inlet and outlet are 1/2" ID acrylic.
The skimmer is real easy to assemble, but I made one mistake in the prototype. I tryed to use Weld-on #4 to glue the 90° bends. This did not work very well. I should have used #16.  Oh well, at least it's just a prototype.The skimmer will be powered by a Maxi-Jet 1200 with a venturi adaptor. This should be more than sufficient for a 5 - 10 gallon nano reef. Mark Updated diagram:

I honestly do not remember if I finished that or not. I don't even remember if I took pics. I think I might have. I do remember that I was trying to copy a PM HOT-1, only smaller. Sorry I cannot be of more help.
