Hi there,
just like the subject says! I'm currently building a calcium reactor and I ran out of acrylic but I do have alot of plexiglass, so I was thinking of using it for the base of the reactor. What do you think?

PlexiGlass™ is acrylic. The name PlexiGlass™ is a brand name just like Oceanic is a brand name of aquariums. Just continue to use it with the glue that you have. You'll be fine.

2 + 2 != 4
Two is only loosely associated with two by a plus sign and therefore doesn't enter the equation at all since it is only there by mere complicity. We shouldn't count it and leave well enough alone.
yeah MarkS is right, Think of the name Plexiglass as a trade name, for a clear Acrylic plastic based product and not an actual product.
Its just become almost a generic like all self adhesive bandages are referred to Band Aids even though there are several manufactures of self adhesive bandages.
Play well
