I was thinking to do this, use the LOA fixture as HQI Minihood, adapt the HQI base for the bulb and put the ballast as remote.
Change the cover for Tempered Glass and ready to go !!!!!
Do you think the LOA fixture can support the heat of a HQI bulb?

i think an loa will definitely burn...you need to look into halogen spotlight fixtures
