hex canopy

hello all. I am going to build a canopy top for my 85 hex. I've been planning to for a long time but I'm really going to do it now. I'm going to use pine and was wondering what size (or thickness should i go with for the sides and the top). Thanks for any info.

1"x10" ? what is the length of the facets of the tank? What are the dimensions of the tank? What lights are you planning on putting in the tank? There are alot of variable you will have to consider before building a canopy
