tankless gas water heater coulpled to heat exchanger???
ok I just was looking at a site of a wholesaler (Sunpet )& they said that they use high efficancy tankless gas water heaters coulpled to heat exchangers for their systems.
now, this seems like a real good idea for heating large water volumes. anyone have a idea how it would be done. I've emailed sunpet to see if I can get some pics. |

sounds interesting, I would like to see a pic or diagram/schematic. See what you can come up w/Eddie
Are they using PVC or Titanium as their heat exchangers? |

they are titanium.
mabey they wont mind sharing info ...I'll give them a call also. I like those new tanks you installed btw...I just found this morning yet another break thru for my greenhouse/sunroom its called Viynal Pane it a clear 8 mil 48"wide by whatever length viynal window its only like $40 for a 25ft roll & is 100% clear. since my 14x16 greenhouse ony has a 4ftx16ft window & a 4ft x 6ft window this stuff looks like a cheap no brainer for removeable window covering. I found it at charlys greenhouse supplies. I have snow on the ground here today(& lots of sun)but before I sink any money into corals I want to make sure this thing is just about perfect in design for heating & cooling effiantly long term. But I just cant seem to stop changing gears. I may put my coveralls on & get off my lazy a**& actualy get some more work done today. We went to working 4 10 hour days at my real job so that will give me a whole extra day a week to concentrate on finally finishing my project. I figured you may be interested in this type of heating & a few others with lots a aqua. |
