I read on another board that it is possible to fix internal scratches on an acrylic tank without removing the water (and corals). Is this true? How do you do it?

Reefstud,
I also asked the same thing on another BB and was told that there is a kit that you can buy here: http://www.petwarehouse.com/webstore...6?OpenDocument From what i was told, it is reefsafe and can be used underwater. Just don't use the "final polishing liquid abrasive". The kit costs 23 bucks. Hopefully someone that has actually used this kit can chime in here. I do plan to purchase it, but just haven't gotten around to it. HTH. |

I use it and it works ok. It takes a while because you have to go through 6-7 grades of sandpaper to get the scratch out but it does work. Make sure that you follow the directions and sand in a straight line and not in circles. Bob
