I want to buy some good books. I currently have Corals Quik Ref. Guide/Julian Sprung. It's OK, but I want something more informative.

Veron's Corals of the World( i think i have the spelling right) is a pure scientific publication about corals and their habitats and behavior. Its a farely exspensive set though. For more reef keeping information The Reef Aquarium Vol 1 and 2 by delbeek and sprung are also good.

Corals of the World is a good set of books. MAy I also recommend "The Modern Coral Reef Aquarium" by Fossa and Nilsen. These guys really did their homework! 3 EXCELLENT volumes. JMO

I have "A Practical Guide To Corals For the Reef Aquarium" by: Ed Puterbaugh and Eric Borneman it's been very helpful. The book has great care charts as far as lighting needs, water flow, aggressiveness and difficulty of care.

May I suggest http//:www.alldirect.com Check out their selection of fish and aquarium related books. They have just about any book you could ever want and some of the best prices on the web. I have gotten many books through them and been very satisfied. Check them out.

I second Hugh's recommendation of alldirect.com. We ordered "The Reef Aquarium" from them (definitely a good reference) and were very happy with the prices and service.

My best seller list is:
Sprung's Corals a Quick Reference Guide Borneman/Puterbaugh A Practical Guide for Corals For The Reef Aquarium Veron's trilogy Corals of the World- my fav. right now. Borneman's new book Aquarium Corals {not exactly sure about the name} It's out and a very nice book. Very detailed, nice photography, care, and a beautiful book overall. I saw it at our January MARSH club meeting as Eric brought the first one to show us. On next to get list! check out my 120 sps tank: http://suetruett.homestead.com/home.html www.marshreef.org/members |
